And finally, we have the phenomenal Bonnie Langford who reminisces on the life-changing audition that, at just 9 years old, landed her a broadway role working alongside musical theatre legend Stephen Sondheim in New York!

Stewart Lee on the art of modern stand-up, hunting for new material, and life on the road

Take me back to the 90’s

I’m English but moved to Texas 7 years ago with my family, I’m loving this podcast as I’m a similar age to you Kate and the 90’s were my hay day so I love hearing the nostalgia of you and your guests when we were the “cool” kids and it takes me back to a carefree time which I miss. I also miss having a chat and enjoying the company of my UK girlie friends especially with the last year, so thank you Kate for filling that void a little xxx
