Life is freaking hard. We are all doing hard things every single day – things like loving and losing; caring for children and parents; forging and ending friendships; battling addiction, illness, and loneliness; struggling in our jobs, our marriages, and our divorces; setting boundaries; and fighting for equality, purpose, freedom, joy, and peace.
On We Can Do Hard Things, Glennon Doyle, author of UNTAMED; her wife Abby Wambach; and her sister Amanda Doyle do the only thing they’ve found that has ever made life easier: Drop the fake and talk honestly about the hard things including sex, gender, parenting, blended families, bodies, anxiety, addiction, justice, boundaries, fun, quitting, overwhelm . . . all of it.
We laugh and cry and help each other carry the hard so we can all live a little bit lighter and braver, free-er, less alone.

Thank you!

I want to thank you for today’s podcast with Kamala Harris. I appreciate your courage in airing this episode, especially during such a consequential presidential election. Your willingness to engage with diverse perspectives is crucial, particularly when the outcomes of this race could have long-lasting impacts. Thank you for your efforts to unite women and for the meaningful work you do. XOXOXOXO

I never don’t want to listen.

“I never don’t want to listen to an episode” is how I described this podcast to a friend and I want to share that here as well. I deeply appreciate the nuance, the vulnerability, and the accountability that Glennon, Aby, and Amanda consistently show. The topics they tackle have helped me in immeasurable ways, from how I interact in relationships, to books I have sought out, to other help I have found for myself all based on the inspiration these episodes have given me. I also believe that this podcast has had a positive knock on affect and has helped people around me as well. As has been mentioned many times on the pod- there is no such thing as one way liberation. Thank you so much for the work you are doing, for the doors you are opening, and beauty you are bringing into the world. I am profoundly grateful. 🙏🏼🤍

President Biden

I hated the disrespect you gave to President Biden on Thursdays episode. He and his administration have done great things over the past 3+ years. We had a democratic primary process where I and many voted for the ticket knowing if something happened to Biden, Kamala was ready to take over, now or in 2 years. I am supporting her but am not convinced the society you often lament over that is misogynistic and racist will vote for a minority female. Private discussion is one thing that I do believe should have happened but I feel like the public bashing from elites did more damage to Joes chances than the Republican Party had done and that is shameful. You compared it to taking car keys away from an aging parent but I hope you would never do that to your parents in front of their friends, neighbors or the whole freaking world that you have on this platform. I sure hope the gamble of going with a woman at this time pays off because if not we are in serious trouble.
