It's ok as a supplement to some more serious study. You will not get grammar or pronunciation explanations. It's vocabulary and short sentences--that works for me, but beginners could be confused. This is Mexican Spanish, which seems to have some slight differences in pronunciation than the Latin American Spanish I did in high school. Pronunciations are sometimes too fast. Sometimes wrong (EX: they say "una" when the word begins with "la") undecided if I will continue this app.

Best app we've found for learning vocabulary. We are even using it to help some of our Mexican friends learn English while we use it to learn Spanish. There is one issue I've noticed. Sometimes when finishing one frame and the next is a listening exercise, the vocal for the listening exercise starts too soon and speaks over the answer from the previous exercise so you have to tap it again to hear what it says. Other than that, it's fabulous!

I feel I'm having a lot of success with this app, knowing everyone learns well in different ways. This app works for me. There is plenty of repetition to help with memorization, the articles are included, and my favorite is they don't continue to supply the english words/translation which I find very helpful. I dont want to learn in terms of translation, I want to learn the Spanish via visual association. This app does a wonderful job of just that. 5 stars.
