This is a revised review. I love the lessons - they have helped me learn so much about me, why I eat the way I eat and how to work to lose weight. I like the meal tracking and the color coding. I am learning what I need to eat to lose weight. Community chats are good and helpful. I'm losing weight slowly and revising my eating habits. But there are always technical glitches it seems. They fixed a previous glitch (yea!) but now there's a new glitch. I hear this is common. Bummer!

Concept is good and most of the writing and content in the daily "lessons" is pretty good, but I'm getting sick of the continually declining quality of the app itself. Barcode scanner is a joke, has trouble focusing, and rarely finds a result in the database. App is constantly slow to open and load, even when it's in cache and was just used a minute or two ago. Now the lessons tool won't let me load a new lesson. So many more bugs and complaints, but no more room in this review box.

App won't sync automatically and always reads "trouble connecting" on opening it, despite a consistent wireless connection. It does sync with other apps for step count (e.g., Fitbit), but does not sync activities/workouts so you have to manually enter those. Overall Android app seems to lack feature parity with iOS. In terms of philosophy, their green/yellow/orange categories seem to encourage eating higher glycemic index foods which doesn't make me feel great.
