App and printer seem extremely fragile in terms of functionality. I give 3 stars because it actually has worked for me, but the app is prone to crashing and most of the time it does not really explain what the problem is. If you use this mini printer and you have a problem, you're going to have to troubleshoot at each step. The device needs a good charge and does not last long, so keep it plugged in. Get the app, update it, try startup steps in a different order, reset if needed, etc.

Will pair with my printer but won't connect. After hours of uninstalling the app, forgetting Bluetooth and resetting the printer... I finally figured out it will only work if you let it see your contacts and call history when pairing. Why the heck would a printer need that??? This is in addition to it forcing you to accept a bunch of unnecessary app permissions, like seeing your precise location. Clearly harvesting our data, and if you don't agree your $100 printer is now a paper weight.

Thank you for reaching out. Since Android 6.0, apps need ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION or ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION permission for Bluetooth scanning or connections. Changing your rating after resolving the issue helps us improve. For more updates, email us at kodak@camarketing.com.

Download app. Accept all permissions. App closes, dialogue "permissions denied". Go to settings. Turn off turn on. Uninstall reinstall. Dialogue box. This is broken. Really disappointed. Also it's annoying to see that the Devs have replied to others having the same issue that it's an "isolated incident". No it is not. EDIT: I changed the location permissions to EXACT rather than approximate, and that fixed it. Why does your photo printer need to know everything about me?
