This joint initiative has resulted in the project off creating one the most advanced MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) provider for the latest generation of geared turbofan engines from the PW1000G series. The state of the art facility is to be built in Southeastern Poland, in Jasionka close to the Rzeszow city. The two stakeholders of this joint venture will invest minimum 150 million euros by 2020. This is the year when the facility is scheduled to be up and running. Planned annual capacity is more than 400 shop visits by the PW1000G series of geared turbofan engines. The newly established center will have a staff of more than 800 qualified employees. Capacity will be ramped up slowly. A state-of-the-art test cell is under construction, too. The EME Aero Engineering Department includes four Teams supporting each engine shop visit from the technical and engineering perspective. Our Engineers implement the required scope of work on the engine, coordinate the activities necessary to meet the planned turned around time and support the operation area in the interpretation of the tasks performed. They are responsible for comprehensive management of the technical aspects of the visits - from the moment the engine is removed from the aircraft wing until it is fully airworthy. Find out more about the work of an Engineer at EME and meet our Team! In the upcoming weeks, we are going to present each of the engineering areas of our company in more details. Last Friday we launched our own photovoltaic farm. 💚 A solar power plant will help us reduce our carbon footprint and conventional energy consumption. The first effects and environmental benefits are very promising - after just a few days we have reduced carbon dioxide emissions equivalent to 20 planted trees! 🌳 We would like to thank the Project Team involved in the initiative! Installing a renewable energy power plant is our next step towards sustainable and ecological development. 🌍

997, 998, 999....1000! We celebrate the hiring of the 1000th employee. 🎉 In May, a group of new people joined our team, which included the 1000th employee. Less than 5 years after starting operations, we have become one of the largest companies in Podkarpackie in terms of employment! Surpassing 1000 employees is an important milestone in the development of EME Aero. I am very proud of how we have evolved - from the first few employees and the initiation of aircraft engine service in the region, to having more than 1000 qualified professionals on board and the title of one of the largest companies in Podkarpacie. This December, we will celebrate the five-year anniversary of the start of operations and the induction of the first engine for service. I am happy that we will celebrate this success together in such a large group, with more than a thousand employees on board - sums up Robert Maślach, Board Member of EME Aero. Crossing this round number, which is symbolic for us, required a special celebration. Together with the employees who joined us in May, we planted an oak tree on our patio area.

Small steps, big changes! 💚 On the occasion of Earth Day we had celebrated yesterday, as EME Aero Team we greened the area around our plant and took care of the local ecosystem and environment ⤵️ 🌳 We planted new trees, thus expanding our EME commemorative green avenue. Each tree has a special plaque and symbolizes an important historical milestone in the development of our company. 🐝 We planted fruit trees and bushes 🌼 We established a new flower meadow 🥪 We have renovated and greened our patio, thanks to which the place where we spend our lunch breaks in spring and summer has become greener. 🌱 Each of us received pine seeds that we can plant by ourselves. Thanks to this, together we will plant 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ trees! The action is ecological and symbolic - the thousandth employee joins EME at the beginning of May.

Induction of the 500th engine! 🎉 🚀 Recent weeks have brought us symbolic round numbers, and significant milestones in EME Aero's operational growth. In mid-March we completed our 400th service visit, and last week we inducted our 500th engine for service! From the first induction in 2019 to performance at the level of several hundred service visits - today, less than 4.5 years from that date, we are celebrating together the round symbolic induction of the 500th engine. The 400th completed service visit and the induction of the 500th engine is something we could not have achieved without a collaborating, ambitious and experienced team (two shifts on group photos).
