My work journey of more than two decades comprises of management positions in the field of Telecom Operations Management with focused work roles in Quality Assurance, Project Management, Network Operations Management and Customer Relationship Management. The tenure is filled with success stories of improved service delivery processes for customers, devising policy documents, roll-out of signature projects with the employer and establishing new infrastructures for departments. During my tenure with PTCL. I have also been the lead auditor for QMS based Internal audits of technical departments.
Feeling the need to nurture professionalism and build a sustainable work environment, I have launched the professional transformation platform with title as Management Excellence Consulting. I am master trainer to an Internationally recognized capacity building program and also offer my services as advisor for multiple Strategic Business Solutions.
As an industry practitioner and being an active member of multiple Engineering forums including Pakistan Engineering Council, IEEE-Pakistan and Institution of Engineers Pakistan, I offer technology upgradation guidelines to SMEs which is a small contribution towards forming an entrepreneurial eco-system in Pakistan.
Looking at gender-based perspective in the workplace, my areas of concern include the low percentage of women engineers in the relevant job market in the country (less than 5% in engineering sector and less than 20% in the work labor force in Pakistan). My struggle is to increase this percentage two folds for the young female engineers till 2030. As the Chairperson of Star-Femina Young Engineers Council (YEC) and Women Engineers Forum, I have built the nation-wide aggregate point for women engineers, to enhance awareness for more inclusive workplaces.
My core values start from individual passion to a committed teamwork with knowledge and integrity the supporting levers, and the cycle of success continues!
