The digital asset management platform SAFE (formerly Gnosis Safe) has released the tokenomics of the SAFE token on its official blog. The SAFE token has a maximum supply of 1 billion, with an initial circulation of 427 million. It follows the ERC-20 token standard and is intended for use in sectors such as smart wallets, smart account infrastructure, and account abstraction. SAFE tokens are allocated to various stakeholders, including active users, ecosystem contributors, strategic investors, core contributors, ecosystem nurturing, SafeDAO and GnosisDAO Treasury, Joint Treasury, etc. Different vesting periods are set for each category of stakeholders. Additionally, SAFE tokens confer utilities such as governance voting rights and staking capabilities.
