Luke Newton may be the star of a Regency-era romance in Bridgerton season 3, but in real life, he has a blossoming relationship of his own.

The Bridgerton actor seemingly confirmed he was dating his girlfriend, Antonia Roumelioti, in June 2024 when they were seen holding hands at an afterparty following the London midseason premiere of the show.

Though the pair have not addressed their relationship, internet sleuths were quick to notice that Roumelioti also appeared to be in New York City at the same time as Bridgerton premiered in the city.

Fans previously speculated that Newton was dating his costar, Nicola Coughlan, after the two held hands at the Australia launch event for Bridgerton season 3 in May 2024. However, PEOPLE later confirmed the two were “not dating,” but were “just friends” and “supportive co-stars for each other.”

She is a dancer

Roumelioti is a professional dancer, often posting videos of herself performing or in class on her Instagram. She has performed for Dancing On Ice and as a background dancer for other performers.

Roumelioti has also worked with a number of studios in London, including The Playground and STC Training Club.

She competed on Greece’s Got Talent

When she was in high school, Roumelioti competed in Greece’s Got Talent, a competition reminiscent of America’s Got Talent. She performed on the show alongside her partner from school, who told Cyprus Mail in 2017 that the two of them had aspirations of dancing on Broadway or London’s West End.

They spent time in Los Angeles together

In April 2024, Newton and Roumelioti were reportedly seen sunbathing together in front of Griffith Observatory in L.A., per The Mirror. 

Fans noticed that in early April, Roumelioti posted a photo of herself dining at a café in L.A. A few weeks later, an InStyle feature included Polaroid photos provided by Newton of him posing in the exact same spot at the café with the same number on their table.

Roumelioti was in N.Y.C. at the same time as the Bridgerton premiere

Though she did not attend the premiere, fans pointed out that Roumelioti was in N.Y.C. at the same time as the Bridgerton season 3 premiere took place in the city in May 2024.

She subtly nodded at the experience on Instagram, posting mirror photos of herself and tagging Manhattan as her location four days after the premiere.

She supported Newton at the Bridgerton midseason premiere in London

Roumelioti and Newton were first spotted together in June 2024 as she accompanied him to the afterparty of the Bridgerton midseason premiere in London. The two were photographed leaving the event, held at 180 Strand, hand-in-hand.

She wore a backless, floor-length aqua gown while Newton donned a yellow button-down over a white tank with black dress pants.

Newton has previously said his ideal date would be anything “intimate”

In his InStyle profile, Newton opened up about what he considers the perfect date: anything “intimate.”

“Anything that's quite intimate, where you can really connect and get to know each other. But I think if it's the right person, you make anything work,” he told the outlet. “Any scenario, whether it's just coffee, a walk, or a dinner, if it's with someone that you really connect with, it will be a good date regardless of what you do.”

Though he wasn’t necessarily referring to Roumelioti, Newton also shared that his idea of a soulmate was someone “you can be 100 percent yourself with.”

“You can be your real weird self [when you’re] behind closed doors and no one sees you and you're dancing in your underwear in the kitchen,” he said. “I feel like if you could do that with someone that's a soulmate to me.”
