Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is known for his stellar skills and viral dance moves on the football field, but fans might not know that the two-time Super Bowl winner is a homebody who loves online shopping in his downtime.
While promoting his starring role in DIRECTV's “Overly Direct Sportsperson” campaign, Kelce, 33, talked to PEOPLE earlier this month about some of his favorite ways to spend an off-day.
"Man, you know what, I jump on the couch, put my feet up and I chill," Kelce says, adding, "I'll surf the web for fun stuff."
Kelce's idea of "fun stuff" on the internet doesn't usually include headlines or social media posts about himself however, as the NFL star tells PEOPLE, "I feel like I always run into that kind of stuff just on social media, on Instagram or Twitter and things like that or one of my friends will throw it in the group chat and make fun of me for it and it'll be a big hit. But for the most part, I'm not searching myself too much.”
Instead, Kelce is likely partaking in some retail therapy. "I'm a huge online shopper, so I'll jump online and grab a whole bunch of new stuff that I could throw around the house or throw in my closet," he shares. "Yeah, the possibilities are endless, though," he says when it comes to browsing for his next purchase.
"But typically, a nice recovery day would be to jump in the sauna and just put my feet up," he adds.
Kelce also loves a good binge-watch when he's not podcasting with his brother Jason or scoring touchdowns for the Chiefs. Most recently, Kelce says he "ran through" Ted Lasso, starring Jason Sudeikis. "He's one of my favorites," says Kelce of Sudeikis.
Kelce also enjoyed Netflix's Ozark. "Obviously, the Ozarks being in Missouri and knowing what they are, it's very interesting how spot on they make that place and that show feel whenever they're out on that lake. Man, it's pretty spot on," says Kelce.
On the menu for an off-day, Kelce says he's usually enjoying pizza or wings, the latter typically while watching sports. "I mean, wings and football just go together hand in hand. Pizza is always another one. I'm a big pizza party guy. I love a good pizza party. Other than that, I mean, you can't go wrong with some good old Kansas City barbecue."
The Kansas City Chiefs star also tells PEOPLE he and his family were "huge SNL fans" growing up, making it all the more special that he hosted an episode of the iconic sketch show earlier this year.
"Chris Farley was one of my favorite actors. Jim Carrey was also one of my favorite actors growing up. But I'll tell you what, there's something about those Christmas specials where you just sit down as a family and you catch The Christmas Story with your mom and your dad and your brother. That's just takes you back to being a kid."
Kelce has become the biggest story in sports as his rumored romance with Taylor Swift heats up.
The “Shake It Off” singer was spotted watching Kelce play Sunday as the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.
Despite Swift's busy schedule (she's gearing up for the re-release of her record-breaking album 1989), a source told PEOPLE she was game for a fun night out.

Kelce was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the third round in 2013. Alongside star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, he's won two Super Bowl championships, and he tells PEOPLE the Chiefs are "motivated to stay on top" this season.
"I think every single week we're going to get everybody's best shot, and we kind of earned that last year and earned that respect," he says. "So I'm excited for it. I always want to play everybody when they're at their best. And sure enough, I know we'll be getting that week in, week out here in Kansas City."
