Prince (né Prince Rogers Nelson) was an American musician and actor. Widely regarded as one of the most influential musicians of all time, Prince rose to fame with his sixth album, Purple Rain. He won the Grammy Award for best original song score, going on to release Sign o' The Times in 1987, considered his most pivotal album. In April 2016, Prince died of an accidental fentanyl overdose at Paisley Park, his home and recording studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota, at age 57.
