Elvis Presley

Elvis Presley was an American singer and actor. He rose to fame with the 1954 cover of "That's All Right" and was later nicknamed the "King of Rock 'N' Roll." Throughout his career, Presley amassed 114 Top 40 hits, including "Hound Dog," "Love Me Tender" and "All Shook Up." Presley received 14 Grammy nominations and won his first three awards in 1960. In addition to his music career, he also starred in Jailhouse Rock (1957), G.I. Blues (1960), Blue Hawaii (1961) and Kid Galahad (1962). In 1977, Presley died suddenly from a heart attack. He was inducted posthumously into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986. The 2022 film Elvis, starring Austin Butler and Tom Hanks, chronicles his life and legacy.
