Sophia Bush Shows Opposite Styles Attract on Date Night With Ashlyn Harris at the American Ballet Theatre

Sophia Bush is making it a date night in the Big Apple!

Coming off her hot style streak in France, the One Tree Hill alum, 41, attended a celebration of Woolf Works at New York City's American Ballet Theatre looking positively chic on Tuesday, June 25. Bush was accompanied by Ashlyn Harris. 

The couple wore eye-catching, contrasting looks as they posed together on the red carpet. In one snap, the two smiled as the gazed into one another's eyes.

The Chicago P.D. actress wore a long-sleeved V-neck top paired with a bright red midi skirt. She wore strappy red heels to complete her monochromatic moment. Bush’s signature brunette tresses fell with loose waves and were parted down the center. 

Harris, 38, stood beside her date in a beautiful blue double-breasted suit set with sleeves rolled up just enough for her many tattoos to show. 

The pro athlete wore a white dress shirt underneath and an elaborate silver brooch was pinned to her top. Harris accessorized with round sun shades and an assortment of necklaces.

The two started dating in the fall of 2023. In April 2024, Bush confirmed their relationship in a conversation with Glamour’s editor-in-chief, Samantha Barry.

Both the actress and soccer player, 38, went through divorces before exploring a romance with each other. Bush was married to entrepreneur Grant Hughes from 2022 to 2023, and Harris was married to fellow soccer player Ali Krieger from 2019 to 2023.

The couple recently made their red carpet debut at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on April 27. They coordinated in all-black looks by Harbison. Bush wore an elegant strapless black column gown with gilded buttons while Harris dressed up in a low-cut blazer and wide-leg trousers that were both adorned with pointed embellishments.

Earlier this month, the pair enjoyed a romantic trip to Paris that was captured in an Instagram Reel Harris posted.

The montage included clips, which were set to a cover of Childish Gambino’s “Redbone,” played in the background as the two cuddled at golden hour and shared a kiss in front of the Eiffel Tower.

"Chasing sunsets with you is my favorite," Harris wrote. Bush commented back under the post: “You 🥹.”
