Baby's First Red Carpet! NE-YO Is All Smiles with Son Prince SJ at Teen Choice Awards

The singer welcomed Prince SJ with wife Crystal Renay Smith in March

NE-YO‘s son isn’t even five months old yet, but he’s already got his first red carpet under his belt.

The singer brought wife Crystal Renay Smith and their infant son, Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr., nicknamed Prince SJ, to the Teen Choice Awards Sunday in Los Angeles — and it’s safe to say the little guy stole the show in his adorable jean jumpsuit.

The singer, 36, and Renay Smith, 26, welcomed their first child together on March 15, just three weeks after tying the knot.

On Sunday, Renay Smith took to Instagram to share a few adorable shots of the family heading to the award show, where NE-YO is set to perform.

In one video, the proud mom films her smiley son giggling in the car on the way to the event.

PEOPLE caught up with NE-YO in April, just six weeks after they welcomed Prince SJ, and the singer gushed about the adorable addition to the family.

“I haven’t slept in about 14 days,” he said. “I’m loving every minute of it.”

“He’s actually a really good baby,” he added. “He doesn’t cry much, he just doesn’t sleep at all. So if he’s awake, I gotta be awake, so that’s how that goes.”

The Teen Choice Awards are being presented live from Los Angeles from 8-10 p.m. ET on Fox.
