Lindsay Hubbard is dishing how hard it's been to keep her pregnancy a secret.

On Monday, July 8, the Summer House star, 37, let fans in on how she's been juggling her busy career all the while secretly being pregnant with her first child. In a carousel of images posted to Instagram, Hubbard shared a glimpse into her life while she kept the news under wraps.

"4 weddings, 2 magazine cover shoots, 1 WWHL, 1 reunion taping, a sandwich shop opening, 1 Kleinfeld launch event, and a magazine party," she wrote alongside a photo of herself on the beach and clips of a photo shoot. "most all in my first trimester, and all before I announced 🤯."

"Hiding this news has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do! (Mentally, emotionally, and physically) 🥵," she continued, adding the various events and work obligations she's fulfilled over the last two months.

Hubbard also snuck in a photo of her mystery man with a brown heart concealing his identity.

On Thursday, July 4, the Bravolebrity revealed she was expecting a baby with her new boyfriend, who she has not publicly named, on Instagram.

"I woke up this morning feeling so blessed and grateful for this journey 🙏🥰 But most of all, I’m relieved and excited to finally be able to celebrate openly, and with the world," she captioned the post. "It has been extremely difficult to hide my excitement in secrecy, and now that I’m able to share my happiness and joy, I feel like a weight has been lifted (even though I’m actually gaining weight by the day lol)!"

Hubbard later told PEOPLE that her beau has asked to stay out of the spotlight — especially as filming of season 9 of Summer House gets underway.

"He's a private person, mostly because of his high-powered job," said Hubbard of her man, a doctor who works in biotech investing. "Obviously, I'm a very public [person] and share pretty much every aspect of my life with the world, so I know it's weird. But I need to respect his privacy here."

Hubbard first opened up about the relationship during the Summer House season 8 reunion in June, revealing that she was dating "a wonderful man."

"We actually went on a few dates three and a half years ago," she explained. "It was just bad timing back then for him and for me and then he kinda popped back up in December and we started dating in January."

"I would say it's tracking in the pretty serious direction," she added. "He’s been a great support."

The pairing comes nine months after Hubbard's castmate Carl Radke, 39, ended their engagement. The two got engaged in August 2022 and planned to say "I do" in Mexico in November 2023 before he ended things in August 2023 after a summer of conflict including disagreements about Radke's next career step and lack of intimacy in their relationship.

News of the cancelation of their Mexican wedding was confirmed in a letter to family and friends obtained by PEOPLE in September.
