Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann's fraught divorce battle shows no signs of smoothing over any time soon.

After news of two police visits to their Georgia home in as many months, a source confirms to PEOPLE that the pair are "still under the same roof."

The insider notes that "it’s a money war right now,”

The source also says the exes are “not trying to get back together” despite an attempted reconciliation as recently as this summer.

PEOPLE has reached out to representatives for both Zolciak, 45, and Biermann, 38.

The Don’t Be Tardy stars continue to live in a tumultuous household. Last week, Zolciak called the police to their Georgia home after Zolciak claimed Biermann took her two cell phones and locked her out of the primary bedroom for several hours. (Details of the incident were first published by TMZ, which also reported on a similar incident recorded on police bodycams in August.)

In the 911 call obtained by PEOPLE, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star said she needed to “leave because I don’t feel safe here.”

Zolciak revealed that the couple’s four children were in the home — though she clarified they were sleeping in their rooms and had not been involved in the dispute.

Back in August, the former football player filed for divorce for a second time, just weeks after briefly trying to patch things up with his estranged wife.

The second filing came four months after he and Zolciak both filed to legally dissolve their 12-year union back in May, with Biermann's new petition — which was obtained by PEOPLE — stating that his marriage was "irretrievably broken."

“They’re still all over the place,” a source told PEOPLE in July during their brief attempt to get back together. "Everyday is a new day for them.”

The couple — whose November 2011 wedding was documented on the first season of Don't Be Tardy — share four children: 9-year-old twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, plus sons Kash Kade, 10, and Kroy Jagger, 11. (Biermann also legally adopted Zolciak's older daughters Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21, in 2013.)

Despite Biermann's second divorce filing, Zolciak told her fans the couple were working on their relationship back in September.

In a now-expired Instagram Story, Kim shared, “I’m living here not going anywhere!”

She continued, “Been working on our marriage and have been living together as husband and wife. The lies daily are too much.”

The Bravolebrity and the former NFL pro appear to have clashed over financial strain in their relationship. In February their Georgia mansion went into foreclosure, though the couple stopped the property from going up for public auction.

In August, Biermann also went to court for the sole ability to sell their family home without Zolciak's sign-off. Court documents obtained by PEOPLE stated that the sale could help erase “significant debt” for the couple.

Zolciak has also been selling some of her designer items via her Instagram Story, though it’s unknown whether the profits from her online sales are being used to pay off the family’s debt.
