Jennifer Lopez Steps Out for Lunch and Shopping in L.A. Following Tour Cancellation

Jennifer Lopez is out and about!

The singer and actress, 54, grabbed lunch and enjoyed a bit of shopping in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday, June 1, shortly after canceling her summer tour.

Lopez wore a colorful, floral dress that she paired with oversized yellow-tinted shades, nude platform sandals and a pale yellow bowler bag for the daytime outing.

Lopez's time out came a day after she announced that her This Is Me... Live tour is no longer happening.

In a statement, Live Nation said the star is "taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends."

The tour — which was originally set to run from June to August — would have been the singer’s first headlining tour since 2019's It's My Party Tour, which earned her the 2020 Billboard Latin Music Award for tour of the year.

On her OntheJLo website, Lopez shared an official statement to her fans about the cancellation.

"I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down,” she wrote. “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary.”

“I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much,” Lopez added. “Until next time…”

Lopez was spotted out and about with members of her team on the same day that her tour cancellation was announced.

On Friday, May 31, the Atlas star was photographed outside of Mihran K. Studios in Burbank, California, hugging and smiling with her collaborators.

Lopez’s tour cancellation and "time off" comes amid marital issues and reported strain between the singer and her husband, Ben Affleck, who tied the knot in 2022, after they rekindled their relationship from the early 2000s.

Late last month, a source told PEOPLE that the pair "have always been very family-oriented” and “want to put the kids first" despite the strain.
