Hilaria Baldwin Supports Husband Alec Baldwin at Court as Jury Selection Begins in His Rust Trial

Hilaria Baldwin is by her husband Alec Baldwin's side as his involuntary manslaughter trial begins.

Hilaria, 40, was seen arriving alongside Alec, 66, as the actor and his lawyer Alec Spiro entered the First Judicial District Court in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on Tuesday, July 9, for jury selection in his criminal trial. The podcaster and soon-to-be reality television star was seen arriving at the courthouse with two of the couple's seven children.

Alec previously appeared in court with his lawyer Spiro on Monday, July 8, for a day of hearings on legal motions related to the involuntary manslaughter trial. The actor's case is related to the 2021 fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the Western movie Rust. Alec was holding a prop gun when it discharged, additionally injuring director Joel Souza in the high-profile incident.

The 30 Rock star has continually insisted he did not pull the weapon's trigger or know that the gun mistakenly contained live ammunition since the October 2021 incident. He submitted a not guilty plea in January shortly after a grand jury indicted him on the involuntary manslaughter charge and faces up to 18 months in prison if convicted.

Alec and Hilaria share seven children, including Carmen, 10, Rafael, 8, Leonardo, 7, Romeo, 5, Eduardo, 3, María, 3, and Ilaria, 19 months.

On June 30, the couple marked their 12th wedding anniversary together with separate Instagram posts.

"June 30, 2012. Although I fell in love with you the moment I met you, marrying you seemed like a dream," Alec wrote in the caption to his tribute, which featured photos from the couple's wedding day. "Good and bad. Ups and downs. 7 kids. (Plus Ireland, Andre and Holland.) Four dogs. Four cats. In spite of some tough times for me, I wouldn’t trade any of it," he added, referencing his eldest child Ireland, her partner and his granddaughter, Holland. Ireland's mother is Alec's ex-wife Kim Basinger.

"Not only have there been joyful ups and sad downs that life inevitably brings, but we have also experienced everything from sideways, zigzags, tremendous love and also things that are so painfully and plainly backwards," Hilaria shared in her own anniversary tribute, alongside a photo of her leaning on Alec's shoulder. "We hang on tight…hold on to family and friends to source our comfort and energy.

Alec and Hilaria previously announced in June that they are debuting a reality series titled The Baldwins on TLC in 2025.
