Gia Giudice Hasn't Been Tapped to Be a Housewife 'Yet' — but Says 'Power Team' Vibe with Mom Teresa Has Her Ready

Gia Giudice previously told PEOPLE she "would love" to see a Giudice family spinoff on Bravo one day, musing, "I think the Bravo screen would break"

Gia Giudice is prepping for the day she steps into her mother Teresa Giudice's shoes on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

The eldest daughter of Bravo mainstay Teresa Giudice reacted to Andy Cohen’s hopes to include her in the next generation of Housewives. Though it may be a while until she follows in her mother’s footsteps, Gia, 22, opened up about the ways she’s been preparing for her Housewife debut by Teresa’s side.

"I think he's always just admired me since I was little and I love him too," she told E! News of Cohen. "I am literally my mom's right-hand man all the time, whether I'm giving her advice or we're just talking about anything.”

“We're definitely a power team, my mom and I. But I'm not married, I don't have kids. I'm not a Housewife yet, but we're definitely a great duo,” she added.

At BravoCon 2023 in November, the network exec, 55, declared that Gia could be the perfect Real Housewives of New Jersey legacy one day.

“Listen, you're gonna be seeing a lot more Gia this year,” Andy teased of the upcoming season, before referring to Teresa’s Shein fashion collaboration with her daughters. “I love Gia. I love Teresa’s campaign with the girls [and I] texted her after the ad.”

Gia quickly became a fan favorite after she was introduced to the world on RHONJ when it premiered on Bravo in 2009. Over the years, fans have watched as Gia grew up before their eyes. Many of those moments have been ones to remember, like Gia's viral "Waking Up in the Morning" song and her recent graduation from Rutgers University.

In a conversation with PEOPLE in November, Gia said she "would love" to see a Giudice family spinoff on Bravo one day — something fans have been passionately pushing for on her Instagram.

"I think the Bravo screen would break, 100 percent ... I think it would break the internet literally," she added. "And I think also people would just be so interested, 'Oh, how do Joe [Giudice] and Teresa cope and how do they co-parent together?'"

The reality star also revealed that fans can look forward to getting a "little glimpse" into her life in the upcoming season.

"I would say I'm on it a decent amount ... maybe a little more than usual," she teased. "And I would just say this season, a lot of truth, a lot of clarity, and I think that's the two biggest words for this season ... I think a lot of the viewers are going to be very surprised."
