Miley Cyrus Flashes Some Major Bling After Liam Hemsworth Reunion – Is It Her Former Engagement Ring?

The singer is fueling speculation that she’s reunited with her ex Liam Hemsworth by sporting a sparkler that looks suspiciously similar to her former Neil Lane engagement ring.

After sporting the diamond band at JFK airport in N.Y.C. on Sunday, Cyrus, 23, shared a selfie prominently featuring the ring.

In the new image, posted to the “We Can’t Stop” singer’s Instagram account on Monday, Cyrus wore a green and pink polkadot getup and rested her left hand on her chest.

In addition to the psychedelic jewelry adorning her pointer finger, Cyrus donned the large diamond on her left ring finger.

“I look like a f—ing strawberry,” Cyrus wrote. “#looklikemyf—ingmomdressedmethisam #prettysureihadthissamelookat6.”

When Cyrus and Hemsworth were engaged in May 2012, the Hunger Games star used a 3.5-carat cushion-cut diamond ring, handcrafted in 18-karat gold with carved diamond floral motifs in an art nouveau pattern to pop the question.

While the couple split in September 2013, they’ve been increasingly friendly as of late.

Spotted hanging out together in Australia at the Falls Music Festival in Byron Bay, an onlooker told PEOPLE that Hemsworth was “really protective” of Cyrus. “He would just pull her close to him and put his arm around her.”

Another source close to Cyrus told PEOPLE that “Miley never got over Liam.”

“Despite them constantly fighting before the split, Miley always said Liam is the love of her life,” the insider added, explaining, “It seemed she was always hoping and dreaming that they one day could get back together again.”

Reps for Cyrus and Hemsworth did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
