The stars were out and shining brighter than ever at a glamorous Brunello Cucinelli event held Oct. 19 in Los Angeles.

The Italian fashion designer, along with his family, invited some A-list guests for an evening of cocktails, mingling and an intimate dinner. The event, aptly titled "Una Serata Italiana" or "An Italian Evening," took place at the Chateau Marmont in L.A.

"It was a very special evening. Warm, easy and with a real family vibe," a source close to the brand told PEOPLE. "People came out because they love Brunello as a designer and person. They see what he does for his community and they feel a special connection to him and his work."
