Bradley Cooper Seen Wearing Ellen DeGeneres-Branded Boxers on Rainy Day Outing with Gigi Hadid

Bradley Cooper is seemingly a fan of boxer-briefs.

On Friday, the Maestro star, 48, was photographed taking a stroll in New York City with Gigi Hadid and his choice of athleisure and underwear made a sporty style statement.

In new photos, the Oscar-nominated actor is seen wearing a pair of low-slung black sweatpants which revealed the top of his Ellen DeGeneres Show-branded boxers. His neon green briefs featured the name “Ellen” printed along the blue waistband.

A similar pair, named the Ellen Boxers, are featured on the comedian’s merchandise website, but are no longer available for purchase. After 19 seasons, DeGeneres filmed the last episode of her show in April 2022.

While her daytime program was still on the air, DeGeneres was known for gifting her celebrity guests and friends — including Heidi Klum, Chris Pratt and Howie Mendel — her branded briefs. Cooper, who appeared on the show multiple times, was likely a recipient of some Ellen swag.

During an appearance on her show in 2014, he even revealed he goes commando from time to time.

Cooper and Hadid, 28, have been spotted out together on multiple occasions. After their second outing in N.Y.C. on Oct. 8 following their dinner dinner date at Via Carota, a source shed more light on the status of their relationship with PEOPLE, noting that they were keeping things casual. 

"They are having fun," the source said of the actor and supermodel.

The insider also revealed that Hadid has "had sort of a crush on [Cooper] for a while" and might be open to exploring more than friendship with the actor.

“[They have] things in common so it’s possible to see it progress," the source continued. “It appears super casual now, but they both have kids, big careers, busy lives and understand what life is like in these circles. It’s cute…and there is an attraction.”

As of this week, a source told PEOPLE that the pair have been taking weekend getaways together as they continue to get to know each other. 

“Gigi is great. She is getting to know Bradley outside of the city. They take weekend trips together," they said. "She has fun. She likes that he is a dad, too.”

Cooper shares 6-year-old daughter Lea De Seine with model Irina Shayk, with whom he was in a relationship from 2015 to 2017.

Most recently, Hadid was linked to Leonardo DiCaprio. She previously had a five-year, on-off relationship One Direction alum Zayn Malik, with whom she welcomed daughter Khai in September 2020. They split in October 2021 after nearly six years together.
