Bella Hadid is reflecting on her summer in a new post.

The 26-year-old model — who recently opened up about her long-term health struggles — posted photos from her Cayman Islands vacation on Instagram Friday, following a brief break from the social media platform.

In the carousel post which was captioned, “August 2023,” Hadid gave several sultry poses as she stood on a balcony overlooking the sea at sunset.

The supermodel wore a black strapless mini dress with a large cut-out at the center, revealing her midriff, and a flower-shaped metallic brooch at the chest. Her make-up was minimal in the snaps, and she sported her natural loose waves .

Hadid’s father Mohamed Hadid praised the model in his response to her latest post. “Love my fighter daughter the beautiful @bellahadid,” the 74-year-old wrote in the comment section.

A final photo in the carousel showed a zoomed-out shot of Hadid taking a selfie with a camera as she leaned on the balcony.

The same photo was posted by international PR manager for Dior Beauty, Fanny Bourdette-Donon, in August, along with other snaps of the pair together after jetting to the Cayman Islands.

“Rest, Reconnect, Reset 🌺🥥🥭🌴,” Bourdette-Donon captioned at the time.

A second photo shared by Bourdette-Donon in August showed her embracing Hadid as the pair sat on a Jet Ski in the water. Hadid wore a black bikini and sunglasses and smiled as she rested her legs on the handlebars of the vehicle.

Hadid was snapped sunbathing on the beach outside their luxury resort in a following photo as another friend also took a photo of her. Bourdette-Donon hugged the model’s legs on a lounger in a third snap.

A final photo posted showed the pair posing with their arms around each other in matching white outfits at night. Hadid wore a plunging fitted dress, a couple of arm bangles and embellished drop earrings.

Hadid discussed her health struggles in a candid post on Instagram in August. The model shared at the time that she is “finally healthy” after “15 years of invisible suffering” from “100+ days of Lyme, chronic disease, and [co-infection] treatment.”

“The little me that suffered would be so proud of grown me for not giving up on myself🫶🏼,” Hadid began the post. She added that she is grateful for her mom Yolanda Hadid, who was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, and the youngest Hadid sibling, Anwar, 24, for “protecting and supporting” her.

“Living in this state, worsening with time and work while trying to make myself, my family and the people who support me, proud, had taken a toll on me in ways I can’t really explain,” Hadid continued. “To be that sad and sick with the most blessings/privilege/opportunity/love around me was quite possibly the most confusing thing ever.”

“One thing I want to express to you all is that 1: I am okay and you do not have to worry, and 2: I wouldn’t change anything for the world,” she wrote. “If I had to go through all of this again, to get here, to this exact moment I’m in right now, with all of you, finally healthy, I would do it all again. It made me who I am today,” she added.

In 2016, she spoke to PEOPLE about struggling with Lyme disease while working as a model.

"Life isn't always what it looks like on the outside,” Hadid said at the time, adding that “the hardest part of this journey is to be judged by the way you look instead of the way you feel."
