SAUGUS, MA — The family of the 19-year-old woman killed Wednesday morning in a violent crash in Saugus identified her as Ashley Forward of Lynn.

Forward died when a man who robbed a 7-Eleven robbery in Saugus fled police and crashed into her car as he drove the wrong way on Route 107, authorities said.

Forward's mother, Michelle Luongo, told WCVB her daughter was just a couple miles from their home when the crash happened. Forward was on her way home to get her uniform for working at Target, she said.
