70-Year-Old Medford Man Dead In 3-Car Crash In Concord
The man driving a 1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo when it rear-ended a second vehicle, pushing that vehicle into a third, police say.

CONCORD, MA — Police are investigating a three-car crash in Concord Wednesday afternoon that resulted in the death of a 70-year-old man from Medford, state police said Thursday.
The crash occurred at 1:10 p.m. on Route 2 eastbound, where investigators believe the man, Steven Marchand, was driving a 1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo when it rear-ended a second vehicle, pushing that vehicle into a third.
Marchand was taken to the hospital, where he died, police said. The operator of the second car, a 26-year-old Stoughton man, sustained minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital. The driver of the third vehicle was uninjured.
