Time: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Location: Cape Spear Lighthouse National Historic Site
Cost: FREE!

Every year hundreds of whales migrate to the waters off the coast of Cape Spear to feed, with Humpback, Minke, and Fin whales being the most commonly seen.

Join us in celebration of their arrival with special activities, stuff for kids, whale watching (of course!) and more!

The Whale Festival is brought to you by Parks Canada and participating groups including the Petty Harbour Mini Aquarium, Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador, Nature NL, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, and Tangly Whales.
