Who are Tony Hawk’s kids? Meet his three sons and daughter
Tony Hawk has a full house.
Between 1992 and 2008, the retired professional skateboarder welcomed four children with his three ex-wives — Cindy Dunbar, Erin Lee and Lhotse Merriam.
The athlete told Skateism in 2019 that when it comes to all he has accomplished in life as a pioneer of modern vertical skateboarding, he is “most proud” of being Riley, Spencer, Keegan and Kadence’s dad.
“There were so many opportunities for them to lose their way,” Hawk, who is now married to Cathy Goodman, said at the time.
After blaming previous “success and … distractions,” he continued, “I can still be there for them, not by setting an example, but by nurturing them actively.”

Hudson Riley Hawk
Tony married Dunbar, his high school sweetheart, in April 1990. The couple welcomed son Hudson Riley, who goes by his middle name, two years later.
Riley has followed in his dad’s skateboarding footsteps — although he has set himself apart from Tony’s vertical skating by pursuing street skating instead.
However, Riley acknowledged in a 2017 Thrasher interview that “skateboarding doesn’t last forever” because “your body can only take so much damage before it has enough,” which has led to his other interests.
The artist has founded coffee shop brand Steel Mill, led punk rock band Warish and modeled.
As for his love life, Riley made headlines in February 2022 when Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love’s daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, confirmed via Instagram that they were in a relationship.
Page Six confirmed in October of the following year that the couple had tied the knot.
Spencer Anthony Hawk
Following Tony and Dunbar’s 1993 divorce, the Birdhouse creator moved on with Lee. The duo wed in September 1996.
The couple’s son Spencer, who arrived three years later, is also musically inclined like his older brother, studying electronic production at Berklee College of Music.
He has released songs as Gupi, as well as with fellow hyperpop artist Fraxiom under the name Food House.
“I want people to know me for me and not as Tony Hawk’s son,” he said while speaking to Red Bull in 2020. “Because that’s just been my whole life.
“I try to not let it drive me as crazy as it does because I know where other people are coming from,” Spencer continued. “But it does get to me a little bit.”
At the time, he credited Lee with setting his love of music “in motion” but not being “on [his] ass about it.”
Keegan Hawk
Tony and Lee’s second son, Keegan, arrived in July 2001, three years before their divorce.
While the former couple’s sons are both interested in skating casually, Keegan has said his real passion is photography and previously maintained an Instagram account dedicated to his landscape shots.

Kadence Clover Hawk
Tony was married to Merriam from 2006 to 2011 and the exes share daughter Kadence, who was born in June 2008.
The entrepreneur gushed about Kadence’s “special connection” with Keegan in a 2010 People interview, adding that all of his “boys love their sister very much.”
While Kadence doesn’t have a social media account, Tony has given glimpses of her on his own with father-daughter selfies and skateboarding videos.
