Julia Fox’s dating history before coming out as a lesbian
Julia Fox’s dating history is short and sweet — and star-studded.
The “Uncut Gems” star wrote about her A-list romances and her brief marriage in her October 2023 memoir, “Down the Drain,” before coming out as a lesbian.
Fox shared her sexuality in a July 2024 TikTok video in which she responded to a social media user joking about “lesbian[s] with their boyfriend[s]” who they “literally hate.”
The actress, who had been celibate for more than two years at the time, quipped, “Hey, that was me. I was that lesbian. So sorry, boys. Won’t happen again.”
Fox’s upload came two years after she told comedian Ziwe she had “some gay bone” in her body and was called a lesbian by ex-boyfriends “complaining that [she] never wanted to have sex with them.”

Peter Artemiev
Fox and private pilot Peter Artemiev had been dating for only one month when they tied the knot in November 2018 at a Las Vegas chapel.
“I was single for like four years prior to [him], and no guy could even get close to me,” she recalled on her “Forbidden Fruits” podcast in 2022. “That man f–king locked it down.”
However, she and Artemiev split in February 2020 before their son Valentino’s arrival the following January.
While Fox insisted to GQ she was still “friendly” with Artemiev in May 2020, she alleged her ex was a “deadbeat alcoholic drug addict dad” in a scathing Instagram Story post that December.
The model later admitted to the Cut that she had called him out “in the wrong way,” saying, “I wanted to scare him into being a better dad. … He just has some issues that I shouldn’t have made public.”
Fox noted on her podcast that Artemiev was “meant to deliver [her her] son, in a weird way.”
Drake
While Fox downplayed her alleged fling with Drake in a 2022 “Forbidden Fruits” episode, saying “nothing really happened and they “were just, like, friends hanging out,” she gave more insight into their romance the following year.
The former dominatrix described a date with an “A-lister” on “Watch What Happens Live” in January 2023 in which she “cuddled on [a] private jet” and “got some Chanel bags.”
When host Andy Cohen asked whether the celeb in question was Drake, Fox admitted, “Maybe. [You] shouldn’t have given me that shot.”
Kanye West
Fox had a whirlwind relationship with Kanye West from January to February 2022 amid his divorce from Kim Kardashian.
They connected when one of Fox’s friends gave the rapper her phone number, with the pair chatting before meeting in person — and making out — in Miami on New Year’s Eve.
West asked Fox to be his girlfriend the following day.
When Fox broke things off with the Grammy winner, he pressured her to sign an NDA — and she refused.
“I can’t be friends with you if you don’t sign it,” West allegedly wrote, with Fox replying, “I’ll live.”
She has spoken about her time with Ye, who moved on with wife Bianca Censori, in many interviews over the years, calling herself a “little puppet” in their “overwhelming” and “unsustainable” relationship.
