Model Jena Sims is grateful for her “wonderful, appreciative, partner”: fiancé Brooks Koepka.
First linked in 2017, Koepka and Sims marked a major relationship milestone ahead of the 2021 Masters by announcing their engagement in March.
“Forever is no joke,” Sims gushed on Instagram, where she shared photos of her stunning engagement ring from Insta-famous jeweler Stephanie Gottlieb.
As Koepka, 30, competes in this spring’s Masters tournament, there’s no question that Sims, 32, will be supporting him along the way. Here’s what you need to know about Kopeka’s favorite fan:
She’s a model and actress
A former Miss Georgia Teen in 2007, Sims made her way into showbiz over the years. In addition to modeling, Sims also has several acting credits to her name, including an appearance in 2017’s “Sharknado 5: Global Swarming,” as well as 2010 guest-starring credits in “Entourage” and “The Vampire Diaries.”
She’s a quarantine hairstylist
Much like the rest of the world during the COVID-19 pandemic, Sims and Koepka had to improvise in the grooming department. In April 2020, Sims attempted to play barber for Koepka with less than stellar results.
“It did not go well,” Sims shared on her Instagram Story at the time, adding Koepka is “still hot tho.”
She and Koepka were once at the center of a major kiss controversy
Not every pre-victory is sealed with a kiss.
Ahead of the final round of the 2019 PGA Championship, cameras appeared to catch Koepka shutting down kiss attempts from Sims. The two did smooch, however, after the golfer won the tournament.
In October 2020, Koepka addressed the controversy, calling the incident a “blunder.”
She and Koepka know how to let loose
There’s nothing like a victory lap for Koepka and Sims. Following the golfer’s PGA Championship win in 2019, the pair celebrated with friends and family.
“Congrats babe,” Sims posted to her Instagram story at the time.
In January 2019, Sims and Koepka also vacationed with golfer Dustin Johnson and his longtime love Paulina Gretzky. During the getaway to the Maldives, Koepka became a social media star when he and Sims modeled cheeky bikini bottoms.
Koepka later spoke about the viral moment to Golf Digest.
“I saw a picture, I forget of who it was, a cartoon character wearing one and it was pretty funny. Got a good laugh out of it. It’s all in fun. I enjoyed it. It made everybody laugh and I’m sure it made quite a few people that saw the picture laugh, so that’s all it was for,” he said.
