Who is Jake Bongiovi? Meet Millie Bobby Brown’s fiancé
Millie Bobby Brown is officially off the market for good. Her now-fiancé, Jake Bongiovi, popped the question at a beachfront proposal after two years together.
The engagement caused some controversy as the groom and bride-to-be are only 20 and 19 years old, respectively.
However, the couple could not seem to be more in love – with Bongiovi even noting on Instagram that he plans to be with Brown “forever.”

He is Jon Bon Jovi’s son.
Bongiovi’s father is legendary rock star Jon Bon Jovi, known for hits like “It’s My Life,” “Livin’ on a Prayer” and “Wanted Dead or Alive.” The rocker also shares three other kids with wife Dorothea Hurley.
Bongiovi, whose full name is Jacob Hurley Bongiovi, is the third oldest. His siblings are Stephanie Rose, 29, Jesse, 28, and Romeo, 19. He was born in his father’s home state of New Jersey.
He is an actor.
Bongiovi has an IMDB profile that lists two upcoming projects: a movie called “Sweethearts,” starring Kiernan Shipka and Nico Hiraga, and a comedy about an ’80s hair band called “Rockbottom.” Both films are in post-production and do not have a release date yet.
He went to Syracuse University.
Bongiovi briefly attended Syracuse University in New York state. When he got accepted in February 2020, his father proudly posted a pic of them repping the school’s gear via Instagram.
“Congratulations to Jake Bongiovi for his acceptance to Syracuse University!” the “I’ll Be There For You” singer captioned the slideshow, which also featured Bongiovi’s mom wearing a Syracuse University hat.
Later that August, Bon Jovi was spotted helping his son move into campus. However, according to Syracuse.com, Bongiovi did not return to the school for his sophomore year.
He is an activist.
When Bongiovi was still in high school at The Pennington School, a private school in New Jersey, he helped stage a student walkout to protest mass shootings.
According to the Asbury Park Press, Bongiovi and a fellow sophomore spearheaded the movement on March 14, 2018, one month after the Parkland massacre in Florida took place.
Bongiovi told NJ.com at the time, “It’s enough. It’s happened too many times that we watch it and we cannot let it go away this time.”
He has been dating Brown since 2021.
Bongiovi first sparked dating rumors with Brown in June 2021 when he posted a photo on his Instagram of himself with the actress in his car. He captioned the pic, “bff <3.”
The pair then went Instagram-official with a PDA-filled pic taken on a romantic ride on the London Eye in November 2021.
They have since made a few red carpet appearances together.
