Kanye West’s ex-girlfriends and dating history: Kim Kardashian to Irina Shayk
Kanye West secretly tied the knot with Bianca Censori in 2022 after his marriage of seven years to Kim Kardashian ended.
However, prior to being a married man, the father of four spent time with models, actresses and more.

Sumeke Rainey
West’s high school sweetheart Sumeke Rainey was by his side during his music industry come-up.
On his 2004 song “Never Let Me Down,” West rapped of promising Rainey’s father that he’d marry her. The union never came to fruition, however, and the pair split soon after he found fame.
Alexis Phifer
West began dating designer Alexis Phifer casually in 2002, before breaking up in 2004, only to reunite in 2006. The second time around, West popped the question, but the couple broke off their engagement in 2008, citing a conflict with his life on the road.
Their second split also came shortly after West’s mother, Donda West, died of complications following several cosmetic surgery procedures.
Brooke Crittendon
The “College Dropout” artist dated former MTV assistant and aspiring actress Brooke Crittendon during his brief split from Phifer.
She accompanied the rapper and his mother to the 2006 Grammys in February, but the pair split by June of that year.
Amber Rose
Following his broken engagement to Phifer, West began dating Philadelphia stripper-turned-model Amber Rose. Their 2008-2010 relationship was heavily covered by the press, as was their split.
Rose has since claimed that she and the Yeezy designer split due to West’s interest in Kim Kardashian, going on to call Kardashian a “homewrecker” in 2012.
More recently, Rose slammed the idea that she “soaked up” any positive influence from her famous ex, claiming she felt “bullied” by him.
Selita Ebanks
Model Selita Ebanks briefly dated the musician in 2010, walking several red carpets with the Grammy winner. She also starred in his 2010 music video for “Runaway.”
Kim Kardashian
While West initially met Kardashian in 2003, they chose to remain just friends while dating other people for several years. Following West’s split from Rose and Kardashian’s split from NFL star Reggie Bush, the pair dated quietly until going public with their relationship in 2012.
Soon after the birth of eldest daughter, North, West proposed to the new mom in October 2013, getting down on one knee at AT&T Stadium in San Francisco.

The couple wed in Florence, Italy, on May 24, 2014.
Unfortunately, the couple just couldn’t beat the Kardashian curse, with the reality star filing for divorce in February 2021.
They were declared legally single in March 2022, and their divorce was settled the following November. Kardashian and West share custody of North and their other three children Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
Irina Shayk
Adding another model to his dating history, West got together with Irina Shayk following his split from Kardashian, sources confirmed to Page Six.
“Kanye and Irina are seeing each other. It’s casual at the moment, but they are into each other,” one insider shared in June 2021. “It’s been going on for a few weeks now.”
The couple have a professional history: Shayk appeared in the rapper’s 2010 music video for “Power” and walked in his Paris Fashion Week show two years later.
West also gave the model a shout-out in his 2010 song “Christian Dior Denim Flow.”
Vinetria
West continued his streak with models with Vinetria, whom Page Six exclusively confirmed in November 2021 that he had been hooking up with “for a while.”
The pair made their first public appearance at Donda Academy’s debut basketball game in Minneapolis, but she had been seen at one of his Sunday Service events a week before.
The pair was photographed sitting courtside, as they enjoyed the game together.
However, the hookup was short-lived as they called it quits a few months later amid West’s pleas for Kim Kardashian to “run back to him.”
Julia Fox
“Uncut Gems” star Julia Fox and West were first spotted by TMZ at Carbone in Miami on New Year’s Day, but Page Six broke the news shortly thereafter that the two went out to dinner again at Makoto Bal Harbour because they became a romantic item.
“Julia and Ye are dating,” a source close to Fox told Page Six exclusively in January 2022. “They both just got out of their former relationships, and they’ve helped each other recover immensely.
“They’re kind of kindred spirits, and it’s cool to watch.”
However, they split by February 2022, as West went on several tirades demanding ex Kardashian give him another chance while disparaging her then-partner, Pete Davidson.
Chaney Jones
Soon after breaking up with Fox, West began dating model and mental health specialist Chaney Jones, with many reporting that the beauty was the designer’s “muse” before they struck up an exclusive romantic relationship.
The pair was often spotted courtside at NBA games and took a trip to Tokyo together May 2022.
The pair split soon after the vacation, with a source close to West telling Page Six at the time that the relationship became “choppy” upon returning home.
Candice Swanepoel
Page Six revealed in September 2022 that West was “dating” model Candice Swanepoel in order to hype up his Yeezy GAP sunglasses, of which she was the face.
The pair was seen partying at a New York Fashion Week event before hopping into an awaiting SUV and getting out at the same NYC hotel.
Bianca Censori
Following many casual romances, West was once again ready to wed when he started dating Censori.
Although it’s unclear when they officially became an item, West met Censori when she joined the Yeezy organization as an architect in November 2020.
Two years later, he paid homage to the Australian beauty with a song titled “Censori Overload.”
In January 2023, the couple held a matrimonial ceremony in Beverly Hills, Calif., that was reportedly not legal. However, it was later revealed they obtained a “confidential marriage license” on Dec. 20, 2022.
Since getting married, West and Censori have been seen traveling the world together in attention-grabbing outfits. The designer also seemingly has a good relationship with her stepkids.
