Kesha claps back at body-shamers with ‘powerful’ bikini pics: ‘Hate me harder’

We R Who We R.

Kesha showed off some sultry bikini photos on Instagram Sunday while calling out her haters, inviting body-shamers to “hate me harder, bitch.”

The “Tik Tok” singer, 37, posed in a tiny black bikini as she laid on a moonlit beach in the first picture, writing, “i didn’t think in 2024 people still body shamed but. i am so proud of my body.”

Kesha went on to pose on a beach-front balcony in a second pic while showing off her toned figure and a high-cut swimsuit.

The pop star covered up with an open white robe and wore a baseball cap reading “I’d rather be ghost hunting” in the makeup-free snap.

“She’s been through a lot,” the “Blah Blah Blah” singer wrote of her body, adding, “she’s torn her acl on stage and finished the show. she’s held my f—king broken heart together.”

As for the haters, Kesha sent an important message, writing, “to those who think you’re shaming me, you’re actually making me feel very powerful. so, to you, i hope you one day feel whole enough to not tear other women down.”

“in the mean time, hate me harder bitch:) 💪🏻” she finished off the missive.

While it’s unclear where the hate came from, the “Praying” singer released some racy promo photos for “Joyride,” her first single since settling her nearly 10-year-long defamation lawsuit with Dr. Luke, last week.

Fans had plenty of praise for the star’s post, like one who wrote, “Your body is both beautiful & strong. Haters gonna hate, Queen! ❤️.”

“RHOBH” star Kyle Richards also jumped in, writing, “So beautiful inside and out 💖.”

“Sadly, some people are never gonna learn to mind their own business. It’s sad, really. Keep slaying! 🔥” another wrote.

Kesha has been frank about her issues with body image over the years, with the Sun reporting in 2017 that she “almost died” while suffering from bulimia.

“If you feel a certain way about yourself, your body — it can kill you,” she said, adding, “I came closer than I ever knew. By the time I entered rehab, they were surprised I hadn’t had a stroke — because I hadn’t consumed enough.”

Fortunately, this star is happy and healthy in 2024 — and proving the haters wrong at every turn.
