Bethenny Frankel suggests ex Paul Bernon, Aurora Culpo already have broken up after brief romance

It looks like the sun has set on Paul Bernon and Aurora Culpo’s budding romance.

Bethenny Frankel suggested as much in Sunday’s episode of her “Just B” podcast, during which she spoke not only of her own breakup from the venture capitalist but also of how “gutting” it was to see how public his new relationship appeared.

“Hearing about your ex-fiancé committing to another woman shortly thereafter on their first date, and then being inside their relationship, hearing about their sex and their gifts and meeting each other’s kids and the level of commitment,” Frankel, 53, said before trailing off.

Culpo, 35, had been dating Bernon, 45, for a couple of months when she revealed on her “Barely Filtered” podcast at the end of June that they had introduced each other to their children.

The level of candor Culpo used may have been a turnoff for Bernon, as the former “Real Housewives of New York City” star implied to her listeners that they already had broken up.

“I’m proud of myself, and I’m proud of the way I handled [the split],” Frankel shared. “I think this woman has learned a lot, too. Their actions cost them their relationship, which was brand-new, and who knows what would’ve happened?”

Reps for Culpo and Bernon didn’t immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment.

The Skinnygirl founder encouraged Culpo to “tread lightly” when discussing new relationships and show empathy for the woman who came before.

“I think by sharing all the details of your new relationship, you’re disrespecting the last relationship,” she said.

The ex-Bravolebrity confirmed she is currently single and going to therapy to help her “process” the split, which she clarified was “certainly mutual” despite initiating it herself.

“I wasn’t happy. Something needed to change,” she explained. “The relationship had its challenges, and nobody dumped anybody, but I went through it. I knew that it was ultimately the right thing, and I really made peace with it. I was happy, and I was thriving and surviving.”

Frankel and Bernon called off their engagement earlier this year not long after her mother died, which she described as a “really traumatic loss.”
