Aurora Culpo reveals she and new boyfriend Paul Bernon have met each other’s kids
Aurora Culpo and Paul Bernon’s romance is moving quickly.
The “Culpo Sisters” star revealed on her “Barely Filtered” podcast that she and the venture capitalist already have met each other’s children.
“He’s still getting to know my kids,” she told her sister Olivia Culpo in Wednesday’s episode, which they taped prior to the 2012 Miss Universe winner’s June 29 wedding to Christian McCaffrey.
“He’s met them twice and, like, on FaceTime and stuff.”
Aurora, 35, shares son Remi, 5, and daughter Soleil, 3, with her ex-husband, Michael “Mikey” Bortone.
She told Olivia, 32, that her kids “really” like Bernon, 45, before gushing, “He’s really nice. He has his kids, two, and they’re 17 and 14. They’re older, and they’re really nice.”
The internet personality, who met Bernon’s kids over a doubles tennis match, shared that she never saw herself as “the evil stepmother” but admitted she prefers that his children are older because they are “already raised.”
“There’s no pressure on me,” she explained. “Now I can be like, ‘I won’t tell your dad. Here’s some beer.'”
Olivia suggested that Aurora and Bernon must be “very serious” given that they have met each other’s kids, but the podcaster said she felt people make it out “to be a bigger deal than it needs to be.”
“My kids are so little, everybody’s just a friend,” she said. “It’s not like we’re making out in front of them.”
News of the pair’s romance broke when an eyewitness told Deuxmoi they kissed at the ‘Quin House in Boston. A source later told Us Weekly that the duo has been dating for at least two months following Bernon’s breakup from ex-fiancée Bethenny Frankel earlier this year.
Despite the serious nature of the romance, Olivia did not allow Aurora to bring Bernon to her Rhode Island nuptials, which her sister felt was “rude.”
“No, [it’s] rude to invite somebody I’ve never met,” the model hit back.
