Millie Bobby Brown shops for wedding dresses in NYC ahead of second ceremony
Here comes the bride (again).
While Millie Bobby Brown quietly tied the knot with Jake Bongiovi in May, her bridal days aren’t over just yet, with the actress spotted trying on a gown at wedding dress designer Galia Lahav’s NYC boutique on Tuesday.
The “Stranger Things” star, 20 — who is said to be planning a larger wedding this summer with Jon Bon Jovi’s 22-year-old son — was seen in the shop’s window as she modeled a form-fitting strapless wedding gown covered in sparkling beads.
The mermaid-style dress featured a tulle bottom with a dramatic train, and she paired the gown with long beaded gloves.
In one photo, the Florence by Mills founder appeared to get emotional, clutching her chest as she looked at herself in the mirror.
While it’s unclear what she wore for her secret wedding earlier this spring, father-in-law Bon Jovi told BBC’s The One Show, “The bride looked gorgeous and Jake is happy as can be.”
After their private ceremony — which the “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer said “was a very small family wedding” — the young couple visited Universal Studios in Orlando while Brown proudly proclaimed her new marital status with her wardrobe.
The newlywed not only sported denim shorts that read “wifey” across the derriere and a “wife of the party” hat, but a beaded friendship bracelet that also spelled out “wifey.”
And in June, Mrs. Bongiovi rocked a ruffled blue-and-white Club L sundress ($180) as she headed on a romantic honeymoon to Sardinia, Italy, with her famous in-laws in tow.
Brown and Bongiovi, who works as a model and actor, announced their engagement in April 2023 after dating since 2021.
