Mamie Laverock’s mom gives update on ‘When Calls the Heart’ star’s ‘long road to recovery’ after fall

Mamie Laverock’s mother gave a rare update on the “When Calls the Heart” star’s prognosis, one month after the actress’ five-story balcony fall.

“Thank you for your healing messages for Mamie,” Nicole Rockman posted to her daughter’s Facebook Wednesday.

“Mamie survived her injuries, however, her road to recovery will be long,” she continued. “I will be setting up a mailbox for all of your cards and well wishes shortly.”

The 19-year-old was hospitalized last month for an undisclosed “medical emergency” and transferred to St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada, where her body was “shattered” in a fall.

Laverock was subsequently placed on life support.

According to GoFundMe updates, she has undergone “multiple extensive surgeries” and is “doing well” despite her recovery “remain[ing] unclear.”

Rockman shared the first photo of the teenager in the hospital earlier this month, showing her fingernails painted red as her hand rested on a teddy bear.

She told the Los Angeles Times about her intention to sue St. Paul’s Hospital.

“We have a case,” Rockman said. ” All we care about is that Mamie can make a recovery and that she’s alive and that she’s fighting and that she’s strong.”

Laverock is best known for playing Rosaleen Sullivan on “When Calls the Heart” and has also had roles in “The Killing Game” and “This Means War.”

Her Hallmark co-stars have shared their support, with Erin Krakow exclusively telling Page Six her hopes for the “speediest” recovery.

“We’ve been in touch and we are wishing her all the best,” the 39-year-old recently said. “But we’re going to offer her family some privacy.”
