Why Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are selling their $60M marital home amid divorce rumors

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are both on board with selling their marital home amid divorce rumors, according to a new report.

The couple have been unhappy with the $60 million, 38,000-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills, Calif., for a long time, People reported Tuesday.

“Ben never liked the house,” a source shared. “It’s too far away from his kids.”

The insider also said Lopez thinks the property is “too big for her.”

The “Gigli” co-stars purchased the sprawling house in May 2023 for their blended family.

Affleck, 51, shares Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, while J.Lo, 54, co-parents twins Max and Emme, 16, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Reports surfaced Saturday that the couple had put the 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom home on the market.

The pair have yet to comment on the news, which broke after the Daily Mail reported that new photos of the interior had appeared on Zillow.

The duo, who reportedly remain “friendly” and hang out “every few days,” first sparked split speculation in May.

“[Affleck has] come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work,” a source told Page Six exclusively at the time.

The insider added that the Oscar winner considers their time together a “fever dream.”

Lopez later shut down a bold reporter who asked about the state of their relationship during her “Atlas” press tour last month.

She and Affleck have since put on a united front for graduation parties, basketball games and more, with him most recently paying a four-hour visit to their marital home over the weekend.

The “Jersey Girl” co-stars’ love story began with a two-year engagement from 2002 to 2004 before they reconnected in 2021 and got married the following year.
