Megan Thee Stallion chokes back tears onstage in Tampa after AI sex tape circulates online

Megan Thee Stallion choked back tears onstage in Tampa, Fla., during her Hot Girl Summer tour.

A fan video captured the “Hiss” rapper looking overcome with emotion in the middle of her concert at Amalie Arena on Saturday night.

The Houston native, 29, can be seen putting her head down and taking a deep breath to gather herself before launching into her hit track “Cobra.”

But even when the song begins, Megan struggles to perform the lyrics as she fans her face with her hand and covers her eyes to stop herself from crying.

It’s unclear what prompted the Grammy winner to break down into tears, but the vulnerable moment follows rumors that an AI-generated sex tape allegedly depicting her likeness has been circulating online.

The “Savage” rapper seemingly blasted the “fake ass” video on X earlier that day.

“It’s really sick how yall go out of the way to hurt me when you see me winning. Yall going too far, Fake ass s–t,” she posted. “Just know today was your last day playing with me and I mean it.”

While Megan has yet to address the onstage hiccup, she did thank her Tampa fans for their love and support after Saturday’s show.

“TAMPA HOTTIES 🥹🥹🥹🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 Thank you i love yall! Thee energy was everything! Love you hotties 💙,” she captioned a video montage on Instagram Sunday.

Reports of the AI-generated sex tape come a little over a month after Megan’s legal team slammed “salacious accusations” made by her former videographer Emilio Garcia.

In April, Garcia sued the rap superstar — born Megan Pete — claiming she had sex with a woman in his presence and created a toxic work environment.

He further claimed the alleged sexual incident negatively affected his mental health and led to “mounting anxiety, depression and physical distress.”

Megan’s attorney, Alex Spiro, denied the allegations, exclusively telling Page Six in a statement, “This is an employment claim for money — with no sexual harassment claim filed and with salacious accusations to attempt to embarrass her. We will deal with this in court.”

In recent years, Megan has also faced ridicule from several male hip-hop artists — including Eminem, 50 Cent and Drake — after accusing Tory Lanez of shooting her in the foot in 2020.

Lanez, 31, was found guilty in December 2022 on one felony count each of assault with a semi-automatic firearm; carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

The “Say It” singer — born Daystar Peterson — was sentenced to 10 years behind bars in August 2023. He is currently serving his sentence at North Kern State Prison in Delano, Calif.
