Lauren Sánchez celebrates son Nikko’s graduation with fiancé Jeff Bezos and ex Tony Gonzalez
Lauren Sánchez is beaming with pride!
The former TV reporter, 54, celebrated her son Nikko’s college graduation with those nearest and dearest to her — including her former NFL star ex Tony Gonzalez and his wife.
Sánchez, joined by her fiancé Jeff Bezos, rushed to Instagram to share snippets from the low-key celebration at home that was complete with a sweet speech from the doting mother.
“I’m super excited to see this next chapter in your life is going to be,” she told Nikko, 23, as she was overcome with emotion. “I know it’s going to be amazing. I am so proud of you. You have no idea how proud I am.”
The sweet video montage, set to the song “yes, and?” by Ariana Grande, featured several shots of Nikko decked out in his cap and gown.
Other images include some throwback family portraits, as well as images of Sánchez with her son and Nikko with his dad.
Another sweet image showed Sánchez smiling alongside Bezos, 60, Tony, 48, and his wife, October, 43.
“Nikko I am so proud of you! Congratulations class of 2024 ⭐️. I couldn’t help but get emotional. We love you,” she captioned the social media post.
Sánchez and the former NFL player welcomed Nikko in 2001 during their ill-fated romance.
The exes separated soon after welcoming their son, and in 2007, Tony tied the knot with October.
Last month, the proud mom honored Nikko’s major achievement as she shared a series of throwback snaps of the pair on social media.
“Really emotional day for me. My firstborn graduated from college today,” she wrote on Instagram. “My heart is overflowing with pride for this incredible young man. It seems like yesterday your dad and I were carrying you in our arms.”
“I just want you to know how immensely proud I am of you for achieving this milestone,” she added. “This is just the beginning, Nikko, and I hope you continue chasing your dreams with relentless originality. I love you so much.”
In addition to Nikko, Sánchez is a proud mom to Ella, 15, and Evan, 16, whom she shares with her ex-husband and Hollywood talent mogul Patrick Whitesell.
Sánchez’s fiancé Bezos, for his part, shares four kids — three sons and one daughter — with ex-wife MacKenzie Scott.
Nikko’s stepmother October also shared a sweet Instagram post in honor of his graduation day.
“What a time we had celebrating Nikko’s Graduation! We are so very proud of all you have accomplished and the person you are Nikko. You are so loved by so many! 🎉,” she wrote.
“Our baby boy!” Sánchez responded to the post.
