Trump verdict brings family closer, including ‘a thaw’ between Ivanka and Melania: source

Donald Trump’s recent guilty verdict in his hush money case has “brought the entire family closer together than they have ever been,” a source tells Page Six.

Says our source of the recent family bonding, “This includes a thaw in the sometimes chilly and tense relationship between Melania and Ivanka.”

The source added: “The entire family including all Trump’s children, and their [significant others, including Don Jr.’s fiancee] Kimberly Guilfoyle are all circling the wagons.”

The verdict has also served as a major fundraising boon for the convicted GOP candidate.

But our Palm Beach and New York insider added that behind-the-scenes, “Donald’s hurting inside and this guilty verdict has really taken a toll on him,” though he’s still enthusiastic about the election, we hear.

Though they did not appear in court during Trump’s trial, family members Melania, son Barron Trump and Ivanka have managed to discreetly slip into Trump Tower to be with the Donald in the wake of the case.

“The family is using Trump Tower’s secret garage entrance and elevator that takes them with no stops directly to his penthouse,” said our source. “Words of support have overridden any past tension as the family comes together. The family has closed ranks and is behind the campaign. Friends say they’ve haven’t seen the family on the same page like this since his inauguration years ago.”

There have been rumors for years of a frosty relationship between former first daughter Ivanka Trump and ex-first lady Melania Trump.

But another source downplayed any rift, and added that it’s all just been business as usual.

Reports have said that Ivanka is reconsidering a move back into politics after stepping away — but sources close to the former White House aide have insisted to Page Six that she’s continuing to focus on her family and has no political plans.
