Lauren Sánchez celebrates son’s college graduation with throwback photos: ‘Immensely proud’
Lauren Sánchez couldn’t help but gush over her son Nikko after he graduated from college.
The proud mom, 54, honored her 23-year-old son’s major achievement as she shared a series of throwback snaps of the pair on social media.
“Really emotional day for me. My firstborn graduated from college today,” Jeff Bezos’ fiancée wrote on Instagram.
“My heart is overflowing with pride for this incredible young man. It seems like yesterday your dad and I were carrying you in our arms.”
In one snap, the former TV reporter can be seen holding Nikko when he was a toddler. In the third snap, Nikko and his dad and former NFL player Tony Gonzalez can be seen smiling for the camera.
“I just want you to know how immensely proud I am of you for achieving this milestone,” she added. “This is just the beginning, Nikko, and I hope you continue chasing your dreams with relentless originality. I love you so much.”
In addition to Nikko, Sánchez is a proud mom to Ella, 15, and Evan, 16, whom she shares with her ex-husband and Hollywood talent mogul Patrick Whitesell.
It’s not the first time Sánchez praised her son on social media.
In January, the proud mom celebrated Nikko’s runway debut at Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall/Winter 2024-2025 menswear show in Milan.
“Just a proud mama,” the 54-year-old captioned an Instagram video. “It was such a gift to watch my son @nikkogzz walking the runway for @dolcegabbana in Milan,” Jeff Bezos’ fiancée added. “Congrats, my love.”
Sánchez’s fiancé Bezos, for his part, shares four kids — three sons and one daughter — with ex-wife MacKenzie Scott.
While the Amazon founder is well-known across the globe, his children’s lives are very much private as only his eldest son Preston’s name is publicly known.
Sánchez and Bezos, who attended the Met Gala earlier this week, have been inseparable since they started dating in 2018.
Page Six confirmed that the couple’s love story kickstarted in 2019, but the duo kept a low profile until his divorce from his wife of 25 years was finalized.
Rumors of the pair’s engagement began to swirl in December 2019, when Sánchez was seen wearing a huge heart-shaped sparkler.
