Deborra-Lee Furness is embracing change since splitting from husband Hugh Jackman.

“This is a year of evolution for me,” she told Page Six exclusively at a screening of her new movie, IFC Films’ “Force of Nature: The Dry 2“.

The actress, 68, added that she’s been “learning a lot about myself and I’m embracing evolution and growth.”

Furness shared that it’s been “scary” along with with “every other adjective” but she’s “grateful” to have the opportunity to grow.

One thing that’s helped the Aussie star navigate the split is friends.

“I say this to all women — your girlfriends are a necessity in life,” she shared.

Last September, Furness and Jackman, 55, who share two children, Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18, announced that they were separating after 27 years of marriage.

“We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” the couple told People at the time.

“Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth. Our family has been and always will be our highest priority,” they shared.

Furness is currently promoting “Force Of Nature: The Dry 2,” which also stars Eric Bana.

The murder mystery was filmed in the Australian bush during winter under challenging conditions.

“We were literally climbing up mountains in the worst conditions imaginable,” she explained. “It was the most challenging shoot I’ve ever done, just the environment…we were dealing with leeches, I was falling down the mountain!”

Furness had the crowd at the screening laughing when she shared that last year she attended the Met Gala dressed to the nines in Tom Ford and then immediately boarded a fight Down Under to wallow in mud while filming the movie.

Others at the Cinema Society screening at NeueHouse included “Blue Bloods” star Will Estes, Alexandra Richards, Lyne Renée, Mischa Barton, and Peter Brant Jr.
