Jon Bon Jovi’s wife, Dorothea Hurley, skips doc screening after he admitted he wasn’t a ‘saint’ in their marriage

Jon Bon Jovi walked the red carpet alone at Hulu’s Special screening of “Thank You Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story” on Thursday night.

Held at IPIC Theater, the singer’s wife, Dorothea Hurley, was notably absent for the photo op following the “Livin’ On a Prayer” singer’s recent admission that he hasn’t “been a saint” throughout their marriage.

A source, however, informed Page Six that Hurley skipped the event due to an undisclosed illness. A rep for the singer did not immediately respond to our request for comment.

Bon Jovi, 62, wore a black T-shirt and paired it with a black leather jacket and a pair of denim jeans.

During the Cinema Society event, Bon Jovi told the crowd he would tell his younger self “to enjoy the moment, because the moments are fleeting. I would have told that kid to look up once in a while and enjoy the ride.”

We’re told that following the screening, celebs swarmed the rocker at an afterparty at Jean-Georges’ The Fulton, where stars including Jennifer Esposito, Will Estes, Denis O’Hare, Ari Melber and Maye Musk sang along karaoke-style to “Livin’ on a Prayer.”

Earlier Thursday morning, the singer gave fans some insight into his marriage with Hurley while giving his son, Jake Bongiovi, 21, advice on his upcoming nuptials with “Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown.

“The magic for me has just been growing together with Dorothea,” he said. Though, he admitted that “every day is a challenge and a change.”

He added: “But if you’re growing together, hopefully things will work out.”

“It’s about never lying about having been a saint, but not being a fool enough to f–k up the home life, either,” the singer said in an interview with The Independent earlier this month. Getty Images for Netflix

Earlier this month, the Grammy winner also opened up about the hardships he’s gone through in his marriage when he credited his wife’s patience and tolerance of his infidelity as the reason his marriage has lasted so long.

“These are all the wonderful clichés of rock stardom,” he told The Independent in an interview published Sunday.
