Chanel Iman marries Davon Godchaux 5 months after giving birth
Chanel Iman married Davon Godchaux on a yacht in the Caribbean Sea on Feb. 24.
“We planned the wedding the way we desired — doing something together that we love with our kids and our blended family,” the supermodel told Vogue in an interview published Tuesday.
Iman, 33, gushed that it was their “ideal, dream day,” and only a “handful” of their closest friends and family members attended the wedding at sea.
“There were a lot of emotions on the day of the wedding,” she recalled. “We laughed, we cried, we danced — and made incredible memories together. The trip actually moved us and inspired us to do this annually with our family.”
After the newlyweds said “I do” in Anguilla on a yacht called the Parillion, they sailed to St. Barths, where they held their reception.
“We celebrated for three days on our charter — island hopping and making stops at beach clubs, where it all started,” she raved.
The model and the NFL player, 29, concluded their island hopping adventure in Cap Juluca, where they celebrated their honeymoon.
Iman’s three daughters were present for the nuptials, and they served as her three flower girls.
“Family is everything to me and having my three girls by my side was so special,” she explained. “Cali and Cassie were so excited in the weeks leading up to the wedding. My daughters hold a special place in my heart and sharing this moment with them was priceless.”
However, Iman did add that it was “heartbreaking” that Godchaux’s child –– who he had from a previous relationship –– could not attend at the last minute.
“We look forward to celebrating our union with him all together at a later date this year [though],” she said. “This celebration will continue!”
Iman stunned in a Zuhair Murad off-the-shoulder gown with a fully embellished corset as the rest of the tulle-layered dress flowed behind her.
The couple exchanged custom diamond wedding rings from Brilliant Earth, with the groom rocking a version of the Arista eternity band ($3,190) and the bride sporting the delicate Prism design ($3,690).
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel has been sharing several photos from the special day to her Instagram.

Iman and Godchaux tied the knot five months after they welcomed their first child together: daughter Capri Summer Godchaux.
Iman also shares two daughters –– Cali, 5, and Cassie, 4 –– with her ex-husband, Sterling Shepard.
Iman and Shepard split in 2021, and she moved on with Godchaux less than a year later. They made their romance public in April 2022, and he popped the question in May 2023.
