Joe Jonas debuts tattoo tributes to his daughters with Sophie Turner after custody battle
He’s keeping his kids front and center.
Joe Jonas has been making plenty of headlines in recent days following his split from estranged wife Sophie Turner and their ensuing custody battle.
But the singer is keeping his two daughters close to his heart (and chest) as he surprised fans with several new pieces of ink at a Jonas Brothers concert in Edmonton, Alberta Tuesday night.
The “Waffle House” singer, 34, revealed a fresh chest tattoo featuring his daughters’ birthdates while performing at the band’s Canadian show, with his 1-year-old daughter, Delphine’s, birthday, “07.05.22” written above a black “x” and “07.22.20,” which is when Willa, 3, was born.
The black tattoo peeked out above a white ribbed tank top he wore during the show, with the singer sporting a beaded silver choker above the design.
The birth date chest ink wasn’t the only new designs on Jonas, who is heavily tatted. Fans also spotted a stick figure drawing of a person on his arm, with the adorable illustration seemingly drawn by his elder daughter.
There was also a new bicep tattoo featuring lines of writing and an outline of a bird on his wrist, with the artwork likely referring to the Jonas Brothers song “Little Bird,” which is about Kevin, Nick and Joe’s collective five daughters.
Fans on Twitter went crazy over Joe’s new ink, like one who wrote, “The tattoos… Joe Jonas loves his daughters so much now lemme cry this is so pure.”

“Probably Joe Jonas: I want some new ink Probably the tattoo artist: ok where do you want the placement? Also probably Joe Jonas: YES,” another joked on Twitter.
His new designs join a host of other tattoos on the pop star’s body, including matching pieces he got with Turner, 27, including each other’s initials, a “Toy Story” themed design and one honoring the couple’s late dog, who was hit by a car in 2019.
Jonas recently spent Halloween with his kids, giving them quite the royal experience as he pushed the girls in a wagon decorated like carriage while he wore a prince costume.
Meanwhile, Turner had her own brush with the regal life as she made out with British aristocrat Peregrine “Perry” John Dickinson Pearson, who is heir to the 4th Viscount Cowdray, in Paris last month.
The exes reached a temporary resolution in their custody battle just before Halloween, with Willa and Delphine spending time with their dad through November 2.
Moving forward, the “Game of Thrones” star and “Sucker” singer will take turns with the kids through January 7.
Even if they aren’t with him daily, Jonas has reminders of the girls written all over himself.
