Chrissy Teigen and John Legend channeled controversial characters from “The Idol” for Halloween.

The couple took to Instagram Thursday to share photos of them dressed as Jocelyn and Tedros from the HBO series that starred Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye and Lily-Rose Depp.

Teigen styled several similar looks from the show, including a satin red robe and pink lingerie, while Legend wore a zebra print short-sleeve button up with a black t-shirt and pants.

The model even wore a blond wig to replicate Jocelyn’s hair and Legend styled himself with Tedros’ infamous rat tail.

“GONE TOO SOON – the greatest love story ever told. Tedros ❤️ Jocelyn,” Teigen captioned the photos, referring to the show being canceled after only one season.

In August, Page Six revealed that “The Idol” wouldn’t return for a second season after it received backlash for highly controversial scenes during Season 1, which aired earlier this year.

The drama — which was co-created by The Weeknd and “Euphoria” producer Sam Levinson — was heavily critiqued for its gruesome sex scenes and nudity.

Critics blasted the producers for allegedly turning the show into a “rape fantasy” while others referred to the “Blinding Lights” singer’s performance as “comically bad.”

At the time, the Grammy winner claimed he “very much expected” the intense backlash.

“We’re playing with genres with this show, we’re doing exactly what we wanted to do,” he told Variety in June. “And none of this is a surprise. I’m excited for everyone to watch the rest of the show.”

The singer later slammed his character as a “psychopath.”
