Selena Gomez ‘concerned’ Taylor Swift is ‘moving too fast’ with Travis Kelce: source

Selena Gomez is worried her BFF Taylor Swift is “moving too fast” with Travis Kelce, a source claims to Page Six exclusively.
“Selena thinks Taylor going to games and galavanting through New York immediately after just meeting Travis is something that is very unlike her,” the insider alleges.
“Historically, Taylor’s always been super private about everything, and now with this [relationship], she’s so open about it that it’s just very odd for Selena.”
Prior to Kelce, Swift’s most recent long-term relationship was with Joe Alwyn, whom she dated for six years.
The two were considered to be “strangely private” because of how rarely they were snapped together.
We’re told Gomez, 31, has taken notice of how differently Swift, 33, has dealt with her new romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, and has found some aspects “alarming.”
Page Six has reached out to Gomez’s rep for comment but did not hear back.
However, a source later told Entertainment Tonight that the former Disney star “thinks this relationship is the real deal for Taylor. She is a big supporter of her and Travis.”
The insider added that Gomez sees “how respectful Travis is of Taylor and that he treats her like a queen.”
Our source claims Gomez turned down invitations to a few Chiefs games because she didn’t want to be part of the “media frenzy.”
The insider points out, though, that Gomez and Swift are “not in a fight” over the former’s opinions, as evidenced by their recent sushi outing in West Hollywood, Calif., earlier this month.
“It didn’t come from a malicious place, and it’s not that she doesn’t like them together. She’s just concerned about the way it’s being navigated.”
The insider claims that Gomez is not the only friend who has concerns.

“That’s why the people she normally has these amazing relationships with weren’t [at Swift’s girls’ night out with Blake Lively, Brittany Mahomes and Sophie Turner],” the source further alleges.
Reps Swift and Kelce did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment.
The “Same Old Love” singer is not the only one in Traylor’s inner circle who is allegedly trying to look out for the lovebirds.
Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, told NBC Sports last week that he is worried about his younger sibling’s new “level of stardom.”
“On one hand, I’m happy for my brother that he seems to be in a relationship that he’s excited about [and] that he is genuine about,” the Philadelphia Eagles player told the outlet. “But there’s another end of it where it’s like, ‘Man, this is a lot.’”
Swift and Travis have been dating since early September and reportedly are already “falling in love.”
“She is trying to keep it together, but is obviously falling in love with him and he feels the same way,” a source told the Daily Mail on Oct. 19.
“Travis is a gentleman and, although it is maybe too soon to say, everyone really feels like she has finally met her match.”
