Travis Kelce admits he invited Taylor Swift to Chiefs game, waiting to ‘see what happens’ amid dating rumors
Taylor Swift might be one step closer to becoming a WAG.
During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show Thursday, Travis Kelce admitted he invited the pop star to one of his games amid rumors the pair are spending time together.
“I told her ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead, you might have to come see me rock a stage at Arrowhead and we can see which ones a little more lit,'” the Chiefs tight end said, referencing his NFL team’s home stadium.
“We’ll see what happens in the near future.”
The Chiefs are set to play the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium this Sunday, while Swift is on a break from her blockbuster Era’s Tour.
Elsewhere in the interview, McAfee asked Kelce whether he “hated” the intense speculation surrounding his possible romance with the “Cruel Summer” songstress.
“No, it’s life, baby,” he replied. “I thew it out there, I threw the ball in her court.”
However, the Super Bowl champ said it was “hilarious how much traction this [story] has actually gotten,” comparing the rumors to a “game of telephone.”
“No one knows whats going on, especially when you’ve got Jason Kelce on live television telling people both sides,” he said of his brother, who has been outspoken about the rumors.
“He goes on ‘Thursday Night Football’ … the first thing he brings up is ‘Catching Kelce,'” Travis went on, referencing his 2016 reality dating show, which aired on E!
“Then, not even a week later he’s telling everyone it’s 100 percent true … the guy is absolutely [ridiculous] he can’t stay out of the f–king headlines.”
Travis concluded the conversation with a simple PSA.
“Everybody stop asking my brother about my love life,” he said.
It comes one day after Jason — who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles — jokingly confirmed that his younger brother, 33, was dating Swift, 33.

“It’s hard to answer because I don’t really know a lot about what’s happening with Travis’ love life,” Jason, 35, said on the “WIP Morning Show” Wednesday.
“But having said that, man, I think they’re doing great, and I think it’s all 100 percent true and I hope that this thing goes the mile.”
The NFL center then clarified, “No, I’m joking. I don’t even know what’s happening.”
Reports first emerged earlier this month that the “Bad Blood” singer and the star athlete were “quietly hanging out.”
They reportedly met up after Travis attempted to give Swift his phone number when he attended one of her Eras Tour concerts.
Neither Swift nor Travis has confirmed the news.
