Leslie Jones reveals she had 3 abortions in her mid-20s: ‘Would do the same thing’ to this day

Leslie Jones reveals in her newly released memoir, “Leslie F–king Jones,” that she terminated three pregnancies when she was younger.

“All I felt was an urgency to not be pregnant,” the “Saturday Night Live” alum writes. “So, I had an abortion, and it was very hard.”

She continues, “I don’t want to say it was wrong, because to this day I would do the same thing.”

Jones, now 56, says the first time she had an abortion was when she was 18 and dating a man named Richard Brooks, who was 27 at the time.

Their on-again, off-again relationship lasted “too many years” and they did not use birth control, per the book.

“My mom got sick early in my life and she wasn’t there to teach me about [sex education],”Jones writes, noting that her mother suffered a massive stroke when she was growing up and never recovered.

The “Ghostbusters” stars writes that she is forever grateful to Planned Parenthood, a nonprofit that provides reproductive health care, sex education and information, and credits them for saving her life.

“I still give money to them to this day,” she adds. “When I went to Planned Parenthood, I finally learned how to prevent pregnancies and take care of myself. Thank God for those people and what they do.”

Jones broke up with Brooks in 2010 after he had allegedly gave her an STD and got someone else pregnant.

In her memoir, the comedian also divulges details about her time at “SNL,” dealing with her nude photos being leaked online and the horrific racism she experienced when co-starring in “Ghostbusters.”

Jones also writes about her favorite “SNL” hosts — with Blake Shelton topping the list.

“Blake is a big-ass walking teddy bear,” she shares. “He hugs everybody and is hilarious … and he’s older. That’s a compliment — he’s older, like me, so he knows s–t.”
