NFL announcer hilariously makes Taylor Swift reference after Travis Kelce’s touchdown

An NFL announcer snuck in a clever Taylor Swift reference for Travis Kelce’s first touchdown of the season amid reports that the two have been spending time together.

“Kelce finds a blank space for the score,” announcer Ian Eagle said during Sunday’s game, moments after the Kansas City Chiefs tight end caught a pass in the end zone.

Reps for Swift and Kelce did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

The hilarious pun comes nearly a week after a source told the Messenger that the pop superstar and the NFL player have been “quietly hanging out.”

“She saw him when she was in NYC a few weeks ago,” the insider said.

Neither Swift nor Kelce, both 33, have directly addressed the romance rumors.

However, the single pro athlete awkwardly avoided discussing the Grammy-winning artist with his brother, Jason Kelce, during the Aug. 31 episode of their “New Heights” podcast.

While Travis — who is “still searching” for love — confirmed that he had recently been in New York, he declined to reveal what he was up to in the Big Apple.

“What did I do? I can’t remember. I don’t think I did much,” he said.

At another point in the episode, the brothers were talking about Travis’ new mustache when Jason asked whether he “found out what Taylor Swift thinks” of the facial hair.

“Um, yeah we are not going to bring up Taylor Swift in this episode,” the tight end quickly responded.

“But something tells me she is going to like it.”

The two-time Super Bowl champion had previously expressed his disappointment after he failed to give the “Cruel Summer” singer a friendship bracelet with his number at her Eras Tour show in Kansas City, Mo., earlier this summer.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he said on his podcast in July.

“She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me,” Travis added. “So, I took it personal.”
